Design Flaw #3: blocking of left turns in & out of driveways & perpendicular streets, by a 15 foot wide lanscaped median, is insensitive to the neighborhood; though it would be aesthetically pleasing for passing motorists, the landscaping investment would be better spent if it were made on the sides of the street where the pedestrians, cyclists, & homes are & where it has a greater chance of being properly maintained
